Frankenstein

Ch. 11-12

I did not realize the creature would be like a small child. He had no way of knowing what his senses were and how the world worked. He had to learn what one learns through attention and affection from a caregiver on his own without any kind of direction. He has also suffered in the hands of humans that know nothing of the creature. His appearance startled them all and they resulted in violence. I was completely wrong about his behavior. He seems to be the most innocent creature I know. He even learned to help and care for others without even being taught. He learned about the love and care people have for each other. Through this time the creature forgot about is painful and lonely past and looked to the future for happiness. I no longer know who is William's killer and the one who wanders freely. I feel even more guilty for letting him roam the world alone.
